This is a book that can be read over and over and over again, and you’ll always find something new in the illustrations that you overlooked before. Every tiny detail intensifies the story’s cuteness. I shared this book with my sister and niece, and they were awwing the whole way through.
Louie is the cutest little French bulldog I have ever seen, with his big bat ears, big round belly, and teeny tiny paws.
I don’t know how Alexandra Thompson, the author and illustrator, managed to make even the food look both delicious and cute, but somehow she pulled it off.
