I am Princess Diana by Brad Meltzer

Before Diana became “the people’s princess” and a champion of charities, she was a young girl who loved animals and helping people at hospitals.

She led from the heart.

I was super excited to learn about Princess Diana! Before reading this book, I knew next to nothing about her, aside from the fact that she was married to Prince Charles.

According to my mom, Diana was way more popular than Prince Charles. After reading this book, I can see why. What an incredibly kind and compassionate person!

I’d like to point out that, unlike in the other books, her outfit wasn’t consistent; it kept changing.

As always, the illustrations are packed with Easter eggs. I spotted Superman in a crowd, a tiny Teddy Roosevelt, and Xavier, Yadina, and Brad from Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum. Most surprising was a tiny Princess Leia. What does Princess Leia have to do with Princess Diana?

As a bonus, here are a few YouTube videos of Princess Diana being ‘the people’s princess’.
