Simone is so inspiring. Not only is she a fantastic athlete, she also promotes prioritizing mental health. As an autistic person with high anxiety, this resonates with me. It’s important to acknowledge when you’ve reached your breaking point and to know when to walk away.
Christopher Eliopoulos outdid himself with the illustrations. The action sequence of Simone’s flips and spins are incredible.
The front covers for the next two books have already been revealed on Brad Meltzer’s website. They will feature a princess and a president. I’m still hoping for an author. Many authors have been featured on Xavier Riddle, like Mary Shelley, The Brontë Sisters, Mark Twain, and Zora Neale Hurston.
